Leonard Cohen dies aged 82
Iconic singer Leonard Cohen has died at the age of 82.
The singer's passing was confirmed in the early hours of this morning on his official Facebook page, you can see the announcement below:
Cohen released 14 studio albums across a 50-year career with his most recent effort, You Want It Darker, arriving only last month.
He is perhaps best known for his 1984 tracks 'Hallelujah', which was later covered by Jeff Buckley and Alexandra Burke to score worldwide hits, as well as tracks like 'Suzanne', 'Take This Waltz' and 'Ain't No Cure For Love'
He is survived by his two children and two grandchildren.
