The singer, whose band Beady Eye split up in 2015, inked a new deal with Warner Brothers in 2016 and has been working on his first solo album with Snow Patrol man Johnny McDaid as well as Brendan Benson.
As You Were does not have a confirmed release date as yet, but is expected to be out to coincide with Gallagher's run at the summer festivals.
Gallagher joins his brother Noel in working with Warner Brothers. The older Gallagher's label Sour Mash's distribution is handled by the company.
