LIGHTS announces new album Little Machines and debuts new single 'Up We Go'
Canadian electro songstress LIGHTS has announced details of her third album Little Machines and debuted new single 'Up We Go', which you can hear below.
The singer's new album will be released on September 22nd in the UK and September 23rd in the US and Canada. It is the follow-up to her 2012 record Sibiera.
Little Machines was produced and engineered by Drew Pearson, with key songs mixed by Mark "Spike" Stent, who has worked with the likes of Madonna, U2, Beyonce, and was recorded in both Los Angeles and Vancouver.
Speaking about the album, the singer said: "I think we captured a timeless electronic sound and I'm really proud of it. This record felt like a triumph after a hard dry spell. I turned to poetry, art and female songwriting legends and found myself writing about nostalgia and naivety and just enjoying music again. It feels like a complete journey, from front to back."
The tracklisting for Little Machines is as follows:
'Running with the Boys'
'Up We Go'
'Oil and Water'
'How We Do It'
'Don’t Go Home Without Me'
