Meat Loaf hospitalised after collapsing on stage in Canada
Meat Loaf has been taken to hospital after he collapsed onstage during a performance last night (June 16th).
The singer was playing at the Northern Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton, Canada when he collapsed during a rendition of his megahit 'I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)', dropping his microphone and falling to the floor.
The collapse comes after the singer had already cancelled shows in Moose Jaw and Calgary during to ill health. He has already announced that this tour is to be the last one he undertakes.
Meat Loaf, whose real name is Michael Lee Aday, is best known for his second studio album Bat Out Of Hell, which has sold more than 43 million copies across the world and continues to sell 200,000 every year.
