MTV EMA 2015: The winners, in full...
Last night the stars gathered in Milan for this year's MTV Europe Music Awards, with our very own Ed Sheeran picking up the mantle from Nicki Minaj and hosting this year's show together with co-host Ruby Rose.
It was a good night for Mr. Sheeran, picking up the awards for Best Live Act and Best World Stage, but if the night belonged to anyone it was Justin Bieber, who took home the awards for Best Male, Best Look, Biggest Fans, Best Worldwide Act (for Canada) and Best Collaboration for his single with Skrillex and Diplo, 'Where Are U Now?'
Rihanna fought off competition from Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj to win Best Female, with One Direction taking home the award for Best Pop and Shawn Mendes bagging himself the award for Best New Act.
Taylor Swift didn't go home empty handed though, winning the award for Best Song with 'Bad Blood', featuring none other than Kendrick Lamar, while elsewhere Nicki Minaj beat Kendrick, Drake and Kanye West to the award for Best Hip-Hop and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis took home the Best Video award for their track 'Downtown'.
The night was packed with entertainment with some great performances from Elie Goulding and Jason Derulo, as well as a brilliant collaboration between Rudimental and host Ed Sheeran, not to mention a show-stopping performance from Andrea Bocelli and Tori Kelly, earning the pair a standing ovation from the crowd.
