Mumford and Sons preview brand new song ‘The Wolf’
Mumford and Sons have very much retreated from the spotlight since wrapping up their tour to their second album Babel back in 2012 but you can expect to hear a whole lot more from the English folksters now that their third album Wilder Mind is almost upon us – starting with new track ‘The Wolf’ which you can hear below.
The up-tempo song demonstrates a broader, more edgy sound compared to the gentler, melodic folk which defined their first two albums.
James Ford (Arctic Monkeys, Haim) produced the record, which is understood to have no banjos on it whatsoever, despite that instrument featuring heavily on the band’s initial releases.
You can hear more from the band when they perform on Saturday Night Live this weekend.
