Mumford & Sons to headline Reading and Leeds Festivals
Mumford & Sons have been confirmed as the second headliner of this summer's Reading and Leeds Festivals.
The folk superstars, who are currently working on the follow-up to their second album Babel, join Metallica in topping the bill at the festival, which will take place over the weekend of August 28th - 30th.
Also newly confirmed for the event are Royal Blood, Bastille, Deadmau5, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Wolf Alice, Years & Years, Hannah Wants, Jack Garratt and Pretty Vicious as well as Rebel Sound, the new project from Chase & Status + Rage, David Rodigan and Shy FX.
The likes of Jamie T, Refused, Wilkinson, Run The Jewels, Pierce The Veil and Manchester Orchestra had all been previously confirmed to play sets across the weekend.
Reading and Leeds Festivals were headlined in 2014 by Arctic Monkeys, Blink-182 and a co-headline slot from Queens Of The Stone Age and Paramore, with supporting slots from Disclosure, The 1975, The Courteeners, Enter Shikari, Vampire Weekend, Jake Bugg, A Day To Remember, You Me At Six and more.
