Muse announce new album Simulation Theory
Stadium-filling rock trio Muse have revealed the title and the release date for their upcoming eighth studio album, which is set to arrive later this year. Their next full-length offering is to be titled Simulation Theory and is due to make its arrival on November 9th (you can pre-order your copy on the right-hand side of this page).
The album features 11 new tracks, including the already-released 'Dig Down', 'Thought Contagion', 'Something Human' and newly-unveiled track 'The Dark Side', the video for which you can find below:
Rich Costey, who worked on the band's multi-platinum selling 2006 album Black Holes and Revelations, is one of several producers who contribute to the new album, alongside Shellback, Mike Elizondo and Timbaland.
The album's retro-style artwork is designed by British artist Kyle Lambert, whose style you may recognise from his work on posters for The Duffer Brothers hit show Stranger Things and J.J. Abrams' sci-fi horror Super 8.
Each of the album's tracks will reportedly come with its own music video, while a deluxe version of the album will include 16 new songs in total. You can find the standard and deluxe CD editions of the album, as well as a vinyl version, here in our online store. You can also find the full tracklist for the new album below:
