New Wu-Tang album looks to be back on as Raekwon rejoins
Rapper Raekwon has reunited with the rest of the Wu-Tang Clan for a live performance on Jon Stewart's satirical news programme The Daily Show.
The news follows a fractious period in Wu-Tang's affairs in which Raekwon had refused to put his name to the tracks on the new album, describing it as "mediocre". Producer and Clan leader RZA then took the step of issuing a 30-day ultimatum, asking Raekwon to get on board or the album would stay unreleased, insisting that he wanted all members to be happy with the record before putting it out.
Raekwon stated that he changed his mind after RZA agreed to 'understand his value': “I got a five-year-old, a 11-year-old and a 19-year-old, so... I’ve got to make money, to feed my family.”
