Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds announce full details of new album Skeleton Tree
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have announced full details of their new album, which is to be titled Skeleton Tree.
The album is the follow-up to 2013's Push The Sky Away and was recorded at Retreat Studios, Brighton with further sessions at La Frette Studios, France.
It is the 16th album of the band's career and will contain eight tracks.
Skeleton Tree will be released on September 9th and will be available to pre-order on hmv.com in the coming days. You can see the album's artwork below:
The album will be accompanied by a feature-length documentary One More Time With Feeling, directed by Andrew Dominik, best known for his work on The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and Chopper.
One More Time With Feeling will be released into cinemas on September 8th for one night only. The film charts the writing and recording of the album, interwoven throughout the Bad Seeds’ filmed performance of the new album are interviews and footage. It was filmed in black-and-white and colour and in both 3D and 2D.
