Best Albums of November 2018: hmv.com previews the top 10...

Mumford & Sons, Muse, The 1975 and Rita Ora are among the artists with new albums hitting shelves in November.

Mumford & Sons - Delta

Out November 16th

The all-conquering foursome follow-up 2015's Wilder Mind with a brand new effort that sees them returning to the rootsy influences of their debut Sigh No More.

Recorded at The Church Studios in London with producer Paul Epworth, the album finds the band in experimental form, incorporating electronica, rap, jazz and world music into their sound, all the while keeping their trademark anthemic tendencies.

A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships

The 1975 - A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships

Out November 30th

The pop-rockers return with their third studio album, the first of two which are set to arrive within 12 months.

The album is a departure from the band with frontman Matt Healy and drummer George Daniel this time acting as producers, but it maintains their crisp sound.

The London Community Gospel Choir and electro maestro No Rome both guest on the album.

Simulation Theory

Muse - Simulation Theory

Out November 9th

Muse go all out on their eighth full-length effort, which is billed as a synth-rock album with themes of simulation and centring on the idea of "fantasy becoming real".

To help the band get the job done, they've recruited a stellar production line-up that includes Rich Costey, Mike Elizondo, Max Martin protegee Shellback and Timbaland.

Rita Ora - Phoenix

Warner Music

It's taken the singer six years and more than a few false starts, but we finally get to hear Ora's long-awaited second album next month.

Featuring hit singles 'Girls', 'Anywhere' and 'Let Me Love You', the album includes guest appearances from Liam Payne, Rudimental, Avicii (RIP), Cardi B, Bebe Rexha and Charli XCX.

No Tourists

The Prodigy - No Tourists

Out November 2nd

The dance titans return with a quick (for them) follow-up to 2015's The Day Is My Enemy.

The album is the band's seventh and arrives via their own Take Me To The Hospital record label. You can check out the fiery first single 'Need Some1', below...

Holy Hell

Architects - Holy Hell

Out November 9th

The Brighton metallers return with their eighth studio album and their first since the death of founder and key songwriter Tom Searle.

Searle's twin brother Dan has taken over duties as key songwriter and teams up with new guitarist and Sylosis man Josh Middleton in producing the album.

The Smashing Pumpkins - SHINY and OH SO BRIGHT: NO PAST. NO FUTURE. NO SUN - Volume 1

Out November 16th

Now bolstered by the return of original members Jimmy Chamberlin and James Iha, the rockers are back with a new LP.

Produced by super producer Rick Rubin and recorded at his Shangri La studio, the album comes in at eight tracks and is the first in the Shiny And Oh So Bright series.

What Is Love?

Clean Bandit - What Is Love?

Out November 30th

It's taken Clean Bandit four years to follow-up their hugely successful debut New Eyes, but the fruits of their labour will arrive at the end of November.

The album features hit singles 'Rockabye', 'Symphony' and 'Solo' and includes a huge roster of guest stars including Ellie Goulding, Anne-Marie, Craig David, Big Boi, Rita Ora and Alma.

Michael Bublé - Love

Bublé has also written new track 'Forever Now' and 'Love You Anymore', which he co-wrote with Charlie Puth.

Loren Allred and Cécile McLorin Salvant are among the guests.

The singer follows up his 2016 LP 24 HRs with a brand new effort.

The album includes new single 'Moves' as well as a duet with Shaggy and a track written with Ed Sheeran.

You Know I Know will be released with a bonus disc of Murs' Greatest Hits.
