The all-conquering pop superstar drops his new LP, his first full-length LP since 2017's ÷. 

The album has been written and recorded in sessions across Suffolk, London, Sweden and Los Angeles.

It features an array of producers, with Steve Mac, Joe Rubel, Amy Wadge, Foy Vance, Elvira Anderfjard, David Hodges, Andrew Watt, Lou Bell, Natalie Hemby and Ben Kweller among them.

Sheeran’s brother, Matthew, a composer, has contributed string arrangement, while Sheeran himself, FRED and Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid. 

The album features 14 tracks including new single 'Bad Habits' and ballad 'Visiting Hours'.

Chris Martin and the gang make it nine albums and counting next month, with a brand new adventure. 

After 2019's relatively experimental Everyday Life, the band have gone full pop on this new collection, with super-producer Max Martin not only credited as the album's producer, but also as a co-writer on every song. 

Inspired by looking skywards, the album is a powerful and expansive pop collection, as you can hear on epic closer 'Coloratura'...

 

Duran Duran - Future Past

The nu-romantic legends release their first new album in six years and the 15th of their career. 

The album features production from Giorgio Moroder, Mark Ronson, and Alkan, as well as guitar from Blur’s Graham Coxon, piano from former Bowie collaborator Mike Garson, and vocals from Lykke Li and Tove Lo.

Originally due out in 2020, the band delayed the album's release after the pandemic and reworked some tracks during that time, eventually the album that arrives next month. 

 

Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes - Sticky

The former Gallows and Pure Love man drops his fourth album in the midst of next month. 

The LP recorded throughout lockdown, with guitarist and primary band member Dean Richardson acting as producer on the record and features guest appearances from Lynks, Cassyette, Idles' Joe Talbot and Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie.

An album is a raw post-punk collection, as you can hear on the tongue-in-cheek 'Go Get A Tattoo'...

 

The War On Drugs - I Don't Live Here Anymore

The beloved psychedelic indie types release their first new LP in four years at the end of October. 

The album is Adam Granduciel and his collective's fifth full-length effort and has been co-produced by Shawn Everett.

More synth-focused than the band's earlier work, the album nonetheless retains the lush architecture that has been their trademark.

 

Finneas - Optimist

Produced by Lamb Of God/Of Mice & Men knob-twiddler Josh Wilbur, the LP is a searing listen, backed, as you'd expect from the record's title, by a fiery sensibility.

Rebecca Lucy Taylor, once one half of Slow Club, releases her second solo LP in October.

The album has been produced by Johan Karlberg, whose credits include Boyz Noise and Yo! Majesty. 

Describing the album, Taylor said: "13 songs of cleansing myself of the guilt and fear of being a woman who is ‘too much’ and replacing that very notion with a celebration of myself, of you, of being a human..."

Aaron Maine drops his fifth and shortest Porches record to date.

The album is the follow-up to 2020's much-acclaimed Ricky Music, the album finds Maine in visceral form.

He said of the record: "The world was flipped and I wanted to make something injected with as much love, urgency, and lust for humanity as I possibly could."

 

Sam Fender - Seventeen Going Under

The acerbic troubadour follows up his hugely successful debut, Hypersonic Missles, with a new effort. 

Produced by longtime collaborator Bramwell Bronte, the album is an 11-track record and includes singles 'Howdon Aldi Death Queue' and 'Aye'.

Fender has described this album as a "...coming of age story. It’s about growing up. It’s a celebration of life after hardship, and it’s a celebration of surviving."
