OneRepublic, Passenger, Example, Rudimental to support Ed Sheeran at Wembley Stadium shows
Ed Sheeran has revealed his support acts for his three huge shows at Wembley Stadium this summer.
The singer headlines the 90,000 capacity stadium for three nights in July, with the shows taking place on July 10th, July 11th and ending on July 12th.
Sheeran will be supported on the opening night of July 10th by OneRepublic and rising singer-songwriter Foy Vance, with Rudimental and Example providing support on the following night of July 11th. July 12th, the final night, sees OneRepublic support again, this time joined by Passenger.
Sheeran's second album x, which you can preview on the right of the page, recently achieved sales of over two million in the UK. The album was released in June last year and has just taken 38 weeks to pass sales of two million.
Sheeran becomes only the fifth artist this decade to pass the milestone of two million sales, he joins Adele, Emeli Sande, Take That and Michael Bublé, who've all previously achieved the number.
x is now the fifth biggest selling album of this decade and is one of only 39 albums to have sold more than two millions copies since the year 2000. It has spent 12 weeks at Number One.
