Slayer announce new UK tour in support of new album Repentless

Metal titans Slayer have announced a brand new tour for November. 

The thrash veterans will take their new album Repentless out on the road for seven UK shows, kicking off on November 21st at Newport Centre and ending on November 30th at London's O2 Academy Brixton. The tour also calls at venues in Plymouth, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and Leeds. 

Repentless is the band's 12th studio album and their first for 14 years with drummer Paul Bostaph, who replaced longtime sticksman Dave Lombardo in 2013. It also marks the debut of guitarist Gary Holt, who has joined the band after the death of Jeff Hanneman, who passed away in 2013. It will be released on September 11th. 

The band announced the album last week in a typically bolshy video, which you can see below. 

Tickets for the tour will go onsale on Friday (June 5th) at 10am. You can buy tickets for the tour here.
