Miles Kane, The Coral, Il Divo, Jake Shears and As It Is are among the artists with new albums out this week.

The Scissor Sisters frontman makes his solo debut on this album and is as flamboyant as ever. 

The album’s 12 tracks, written over the last two years after the Scissor Sisters went on hiatus, were recorded in Louisville with Kevin Ratterman and a host of local musicians that include members of My Morning Jacket.

The Last Shadow Puppets man unveils his first new solo album in five years, an album featuring songs co-written with Jamie T and Lana Del Rey. 

The LP sees Kane focusing on harder, more aggressive sound, with 80s post-punk a key inspiration.

The Scouse psychedelic pop collective unveil their ninth full-length effort this week, the follow-up to 2014's Distance Inbetween. 

Recorded with producer Rich Turvey, the album sees the band embracing melody and returning to their 60s pop-influenced roots.
