Sam Smith, Maroon 5, Bryan Adams and Sheridan Smith are among the artists with new albums out this week.

The Thrill of It All

Sam Smith - The Thrill Of It All

After shifting 12 million copies of his debut album In The Lonely Hour, Smith has taken his time crafting a follow-up, but it arrives finally this week.

The album sees Smith working alongside long-time collaborator Jimmy Napes, but he also calls on an array of producing talent including Timbaland, StarGate and Zayn Malik/Frank Ocean knob twiddler Malay.

Smith has promised a painfully intimate collection of songs, as shown on lead-off single ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’.

Now a seven-piece, the pop collective return with their sixth full-length effort, their first since 2014’s V.

Including new single ‘What Lovers Do’, the album sees the band in the studio with likes of Diplo, Charlie Puth and John Ryan to create a collection that owes more to hip-hop and R’n’B than their previous efforts.

The band have recruited heavyweights guests for this LP, with A$AP Rocky, Julia Michaels, SZA and LunchMoney Lewis all featuring.
