U2 announce short UK arena tour for October 2015

U2 have announced a short run of UK shows for October of next year. 

The UK leg of the tour will consist of six shows as part of a wider European run, four of the gigs will take place at London's O2 Arena, the other two at Glasgow's SSE Hydro Arena. It is the band's first run of arena shows for over a decade. 

The band, who released their controversial new album Songs Of Innocence earlier this year, will play the O2 Arena at the end of October and Glasgow's SSE Hydro Arena on November 6th and 7th. 

The run of shows also sees the band play multiple nights in Paris, Turin, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Koln, Antwerp, Stockholm and Berlin. You can see all the dates here. 

Speaking about the tour, which is named the iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour 2015, U2 frontman Bono said: "We are going to try to have a completely different feeling from night one to night two and have some fun playing with the idea of innocence and experience. More to be revealed!"

Tickets for the tour will go onsale on Monday (December 8th) at 9am
