Weezer announce new album 'Everything Will Be Alright In The End'
Veteran pop rockers Weezer have announced that their brand new album will be titled Everything Will Be Alright In The End and will released on September 29th in the UK.
The album is the band's ninth studio album and has been produced by Ric Ocasek, who worked with the band on their beloved 1994 self titled album (known as The Blue Album) and their 2001 self-titled record (known as The Green Album).
The title was confirmed in a studio update from the band, which also offers up a snippet of new music, a joyful guitar rock track that sounds like vintage Weezer. You can watch it below.
The album is the band's follow-up to their 2011 record Hurley and its companinion compilation Death To False Metal, which came out in the same year.
Speaking earlier about the album, drummer Patrick Wilson said it sounded: "bombastic, loose, kind of booming. The record sounds like it’s going to have the tight structure of Blue Album with a little bit more abandon like Pinkerton."
Songs in contention for inclusion on the album include 'Back To The Shack, 'Ain't Got Nobody', 'The Wasteland' and 'Eulogy For A Rock Band'.
