Cate Le Bon, Skindred, The Anchoress among nominees for 2016 Welsh Music Prize
Cate Le Bon, Skindred and The Anchoress are among the nominees for the 2015-16 Welsh Music Prize.
The shortlist was announced in full today and also includes albums from 9 Bach, Alun Gaffey, Climbing Trees, Datblygu, Meilyr Jones, Plu, Right Hand Left Hand, Simon Love and Swnami.
The ceremony will take place on November 24th at DEPOT in Cardiff.
The award was won in 2015 by former Pipettes singer Gwenno for her album Y Dydd Olaf. She saw off competition from Catfish and the Bottlemen, Richard James and Joanna Gruesome to take home the award. Previous winners of the award include Future Of The Left, Georgia Ruth and Gryff Rhys.
