will.i.am confirms that the Black Eyed Peas will be reuniting in 2015
will.i.am has confirmed that the Black Eyed Peas will be reuniting in 2015 and that they will be bringing out new music.
The rapper revealed that the group will be releasing a series of new tracks across the year to celebrate their 20th anniversary, but probably will not put out a new album.
He told Capital FM: "OK I can't give too many details, but there's a bunch of Pea Bodies out there that we've been tweeting back and forth for the past couple of days over the excitement of 20 years of Black Eyed Peas."
He continued: "We're going to have new music. We'll have a bunch of new experiences. I don't want to call them albums, but we'll have some experiences and a bunch of stuff to get the Pea Bodies and the folks that supported us and got us to this point. So we'll make music for them and we'll just reflect on the dream. The initial dream we had, June 1995."
The foursome, who also include rappers apl.de.ap, Taboo and singer Fergie, went on indefinite hiatus in 2011 to pursue solo careers. They have sold over 35 million albums in their career to date.
