Will Young is narrowly ahead of The Vaccines in the race to score a Number One album this weekend.
The Pop Idol winner's new album 85% Proof is currently just over 1,000 sales ahead of The Vaccines' new album English Graffiti with three full days of sales to go, reports the Official Charts Company.
Taylor Swift looks set to move up to Number Three with 1989, with Mumford & Sons at Number Four and Brandon Flowers, who topped the chart last week with new album The Desired Effect, at Number Five.
Other notable new entries are A$AP Rocky, who is currently at Number 14 with A L L A (At Long Last ASAP) and the cast of Empire, with the soundtrack from the first season set to go in at Number 16.
Swedish DJ Alesso is currently at 17 with his debut album Forever, with Ash new at 22 with Kablammo! and Australian act Hillsong United currently at Number 19 with new LP Empires.
