"I'd like to be the next Bond villain. I'm just putting that out there..." hmv.com talks to Tony Bellew
Director Ryan Coogler is breathing new life into the Rocky franchise with his new film Creed, which sees Sylvester Stallone turning from fighter to trainer as he attempts to guide the career of Adonis Creed, son of his friend and former adversary Apollo. To give the film an added layer of gritty realism, Coogler opted to cast a real professional boxer in the role of his opponent, 'Pretty' Ricky Conlon, and for that he turned to Liverpool fighter Tony 'Bomber' Bellew.
With the film arriving in stores on DVD, Blu-ray and an exclusive steelbook edition last week, Tony paid a visit to our Liverpool store to meet fans and sign copied of the new film. We grabbed him for a chat to discuss how he got involved with the film, meeting three of his heroes in one day, and why he'd like to be the next Bond villain...
