"I saw something there that could be very exciting and have people on the edge of their seats..." - hmv.com talks to Chadwick Boseman
In recent years, actor Chadwick Boseman has become best-known to most as the hero of Marvel blockbuster Black Panther, both in the film that bears the character's name and in several other movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe such as Avengers: Endgame, but his latest role finds him tackling something much more grounded in reality.
21 Bridges, produced by Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo, sees Boseman take on the role of a New York City detective tasked with solving what initially seems like a drug-related robbery gone wrong, resulting in the death of several police officers. But there's more to the situation than meets the eye and if he's going to find out the truth, he'll need to make sure the culprits don't get out of Manhattan before he catches them.
Starring alongside Boseman is a cast that includes J.K. Simmons and Sienna Miller, with Brian Kirk in the director's chair.
With the film arriving in cinemas this Friday (November 22nd) we caught up with Boseman for a chat about his latest starring role.
