Action-fueled first trailer for Disney's live-action Mulan unveiled
A first trailer for Disney's new live-action Mulan has been unveiled and you can see it below:
Mulan tells the story of a young woman, who is forced to disguise herself and join the Chinse army to save her weakened and lame father from certain death. After struggling, she then goes on to become one of China's greatest heroines.
The movie stars actress Chinese actress Liu Yifei, also known as Crystal Liu, while Yoson An, Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Ron Yuan, Tzi Ma, Chum Ehelepola, Gong Li, Jet Li, Rosalind Chao and Cheng Pei-Pei co-star.
The movie, which has been recently rewritten by Jurassic World scribes Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, was originally due to hit cinemas on November 2nd in 2018, but is now due out on March 27th in 2020.
Niki Caro, director of indie hit Whale Rider and drama The Zookeeper's Wife, is behind the camera.
Mulan is the latest in a string of live-action retellings of Disney's classics, they have already released new adaptations of Alice In Wonderland, Maleficent, Cinderella, Beauty And The Beast, Dumbo and, most recently, Aladdin.
New adaptations of The Little Mermaid and Pinocchio are currently in production.
