Ant-Man 3 confirmed for 2022, Paul Rudd and director Peyton Reed to return
A third instalment of Ant-Man will arrive in 2022.
Director Peyton Reed and star Paul Rudd will return for the new movie, and, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the plan is to shoot at the end of 2020 and start of 2021, with a release to follow in 2022.
The film is the follow-up to 2018's Ant-Man and the Wasp, which grossed over $620 million at the box office.

The new instalment is the seventh Marvel film to be announced for release.
New sequels Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder and a new instalment of Spider-Man are due in 2021, while a second Black Panther will arrive in 2022.
In 2020, Marvel will release the Black Widow movie and The Eternals, while new epic Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will come at the start of 2021.
