Ant-Man 3 finds its villain in Lovecraft Country's Jonathan Majors
Jonathan Majors, star of HBO's new hit Lovecraft Country, looks set to take a key role in Ant-Man 3.
The third instalment of Marvel's franchise is due for release in 2022, with the plan, currently, to shoot at the end of 2020 and start of 2021.
Director Peyton Reed and stars Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily will return for the new movie, with Majors set to take a key role opposite them.
According to Deadline, Majors is set to play Kang The Conqueror, a time traveller who is out to control history and has come into conflict with a variety of Marvel heroes over the course of his history in the comic books.
The film is the follow-up to 2018's Ant-Man and the Wasp, which grossed over $620 million at the box office.
