Benedict Cumberbatch's new take on The Grinch is back in the film's second trailer

A second trailer for The Grinch, the new adaptation of Dr Seuss's classic How The Grinch Stole Christmas, which features Benedict Cumberbatch voicing the title role, has arrived. Click below to watch it:

The new adaptation has been produced by Illumination, the production company responsible for the Despicable Me franchise and The Secret Life Of Pets.

The Grinch tells the story of the Grinch, who plots to ruin Christmas for the residents of the neighbouring village of Whoville with the help of his trusty dog Max. To help the residents stop this, they end up recruiting Santa Claus...

Pete Candeland and Yarrow Cheney have directed the new adaptation, which also features a score from Danny Elfman. It will be released into UK cinemas on November 9th.

The Grinch was last put on screen in 2000 with Jim Carrey in the title role. You can check it out here in our online store.
