New additions to our First Edition and Premium Collection ranges are coming this month and V for Vendetta finally comes to 4K in time for November 5th...

Given the combined legacies of both writer Alan Moore and his most iconic creation, whose Guy Fawkes-style mask has been adopted and referenced by everyone from hacker group Anonymous to TV shows such as Mr. Robot, it's perhaps surprising that V for Vendetta hasn't gotten the 4K remaster treatment until now.

But if you're going to do it, do it in November. A brand new reissue headed to stores on November 2nd does exactly that and brings V to 4K Ultra HD for the first time, in all his vengeful glory.

Another gorgeous addition to our new and exclusive Japanese Artwork Series this month, Robert Zemeckis' 1985 classic starring Michael J. Fox makes its way into stores this month in the form of a stunning limited edition Steelbook that we think is one of the standouts in this extremely good-looking series.

The future hasn't brought us the hoverboards we were promised, but if you pre-order our exclusive it will bring you a bunch of extras including a Q&A with Michael J. Fox, a documentary named 'Tales from the Future' and a series of deleted scenes and outtakes.

In another exciting exclusive this month, cult anime classic Wicked City and its follow-up Demon City Shinjuku, both from Japanese director Yoshiaki Kawajiri, are heading to stores this month in the form of a stunning limited edition double-feature box set edition.

Due to arrive in stores on November 23rd and remastered in HD for the first time, the exclusive edition includes two Blu-ray discs, four art cards and a poster, as well as a range of bonus materials on the discs themselves such as storyboards, trailers and stills galleries.

A Christmas favourite which seems to polarise audiences more than any other, Frank Capra's wintry wonder from 1946 is nevertheless an established classic for the holiday season and, for some, Christmas just isn't complete without it.

In the spirit of getting all your festive gift buying done early, a new limited edition version of Capra's film heads to stores in November, giving you plenty of time to squeeze the newly-restored version of It's a Wonderful Life into somebody's stocking.

If Frank Capra's dreamy vision of Christmas is a little too saccharine for your taste, then there's an altogether different take on the festive season also heading your way in November courtesy of the folks at reissue specialists 101 Films. Both the cult classic 1984 horror film from director Charles E. Sellier Jr. and its sequel by Lee Harry are returning to our shelves in November in the form of a double-feature box set edition.

Set to arrive in stores on November 9th, the new reissue includes a limited edition booklet featuring an interview with Morgan Ames and newly commissioned artwork by Keith Robinson.

Martin Scorsese's latest epic of storytelling may not be quite within the usual remit of our monthly reissues round-up, having debuted on Netflix just last year, but the Criterion Collection is a regular fixture of these pages and they've wasted no time in declaring the film to be of cultural significance, swiftly adding The Irishman to their esteemed collection of films.

The new Criterion edition makes its arrival in stores on November 30th in the form of a director-approved special edition which features a 4K presentation, a newly-edited roundtable discussion with Scorsese, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci, and a new documentary about the making of the film.

Another stone-cold classic of Japanese animation makes a triumphant return to stores this month as Katsuhiro Otomo's Manga masterpiece Akira gets a stunning new limited edition reissue in November.

Aside from eye-catching box set it's all housed in, the new edition also includes a 40-page booklet and a range of bonus features including a storyboard collection and a documentary covering the film's groundbreaking soundtrack. The new Limited Edition lands in stores on November 30th.

Perhaps one of the lesser-known comic book properties to receive the big screen adaptation treatment, the masked hero from the fictional country of Bengalia, originally created by Lee Falk, was brought to the big screen in 1996 by director Simon Wincer, with Billy Zane in the starring role.

The film joins our exclusive Premium Collection this month when it arrives in stores on November 23rd and includes all the usual goodies such as collectable art cards and lobby poster.

Tokien needs no introduction vrom us, but a 4K edition is way overdue and that's a wrong that's set to be righted in November as the entire trilogy arrives in stores this month in resplendent 4K Ultra HD. If you're going to watch in the comfort of your own home, this is by far the best edition yet.
