Bloody first trailer for new Black Christmas remake debuts online

A first trailer for Black Christmas, the remake of the 1974 horror classic, has debuted online. Click below to watch it:

The film stars Imogen Poots, Aleyse Shannon, Brittany O'Grady, Lily Donoghue, Caleb Eberhardt, and Cary Elwes.

Sophia Takal, director of Always Shine, is in charge, working from a script she co-wrote with April Wolfe. Jason Blum produces for his Blumhouse label.

Black Christmas is set at Hawthorne College during the festive period, where, unfortunately, sorority girls on campus are being killed by an unknown stalker.

As the body count rises, Poots' Riley and her friends start to question whether they can trust any man on campus and vow to fight back...

The film was first released in 1974 and was then remade in 2006 with a cast that included Michelle Trachtenberg and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

The new remake will hit UK cinemas on December 13th.
