Blue Is The Warmest Colour's Lea Seydoux set to star in new James Bond film
French actress Léa Seydoux, star of Blue Is The Warmest Colour, is to star in the next James Bond film, according to reports today (October 10th).
The Daily Mail reports that Seydoux has signed up to star in the new film and will meet up with fellow cast members Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris in the coming weeks to begin rehearsals.
The report also states that filming on the follow-up to 2012's smash-hit Skyfall, which is currently simply known as Bond 24, will begin in six weeks time.
As well as Blue Is The Warmest Colour, Seydoux has also held parts in Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel and Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Bastards.
It was reported earlier this month that Rihanna had also been offered a part in the new Bond film, but those reports remain unconfirmed.
Skyfall director Sam Mendes will return to the director's chair for the next James Bond film, which has a script from John Logan.
The film is set to be Daniel Craig's penultimate outing as Bond, with the actor now only contracted for two more films. The film is currently scheduled to be released on October 23rd in 2015.
