Breaking Bad movie to begin shooting later this year
A Breaking Bad movie is on the way.
The hugely successful television series, which ended in 2013, told the story of Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher who finds he has been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer.
In order to secure his family's future, White teams up with an old student of his and turns to manufacturing and selling crystal meth.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is working on a two-hour movie based on the series and will begin shooting later this month in New Mexico.
At the moment, it remains unclear if that will be released theatrically or made for television.
There is also no detail on whether the movie will be a prequel or a continuation of the story or if stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are involved.
