Brooklyn Nine-Nine cancelled after five seasons

Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been cancelled after five seasons.

The sitcom, which followed the adventures of the police department of Brooklyn's 99th Precinct, had been a critical success, but producers Fox have taken the season not to renew the show.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine starred Andy Samberg, Stephanie Beatriz, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, Chelsea Peretti and Andre Braugher, while the likes of Ryan Philippe, Nick Offerman and Craig Robinson have all guest starred.

Reports suggest that the show has been cancelled by the network as it wants to clear space for a slew of TV shows.
