Captain America directors sign up for Avengers: Infinity War
Brothers Anthony and Joe Russo have signed on the dotted line to helm the two-part Avengers movie, where they will take over from Joss Whedon.
Marvel Studios have come to terms with Captain America: Civil War directors Anthony and Joe Russo to direct the next instalment in the Avengers film series.
Avengers: Infinity War, a two-part movie, will be shot back to back next year and will be aiming for a May 2018 and May 2019 release respectively.
The films will again host the massive ensemble cast, including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo and is tipped to be the movie where Spider-Man makes his Avengers debut after Marvel recent announcement that he would be joining the series.
Meanwhile, before we get too ahead of ourselves, Joss Whedon’s final time behind the camera (in this series, anyway) Avengers: Age of Ultron will hit cinema screens on April 24th.
