Cara Delevingne to star in Ben Stiller's Zoolander 2?
Supermodel Cara Delevingne is being lined up for a role in Zoolander 2, according to tabloid reports today (August 27th).
The 22-year old model, who has become a household name over the last 12 months, is being lined up by director Ben Stiller to take a role in the sequel to the much-loved comedy, which he himself starred in back in 2001.
According to The Sun, a source has told them that both Delevingne and fellow model Suki Waterhouse are under consideration, but Delevigne is the favourite.
The source said: "Ben and the producers want a big-name model for the film and they need to be jokers and full of natural comedy. They are still working out what the exact role will be but it's likely to include a lot of goofing around."
They continued: "Everything Cara's done has been super serious and worthy but her agents think it's time she spread her wings. It could be the role to make her name in the US.
Initial meetings have taken place with the agents but now Ben wants to meet Cara and work out if their chemistry is good."
This wouldn't be Delevingne's first acting role, she has appeared in the likes of Anna Karenina and is currently filming a role in Joe Wright's new adaptation of Peter Pan.
