Channing Tatum set for major role in Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight?
Channing Tatum looks set to join the cast of Quentin Tarantino's new thriller The Hateful Eight, according to reports overnight.
According to Deadline.com, Tatum, who was recently confirmed to star as Gambit in a new X-Men spin-off, has been lined up for a major role in Tarantino's new epic, which is in the final stages of pre-production.
The Hateful Eight is set to follow two bounty hunters, a tough female prisoner and a local sheriff who take shelter from a savage storm in a Wyoming saloon. They are joined in the saloon by four men, who may, or may not, be trying to free the prisoner.
Jason Leigh joins Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Zoe Bell, Bruce Dern, Walton Goggins, Dana Gourrier, Michael Madsen, Denis Menochet, James Parks, James Remar and Tim Roth, who are all confirmed to star in the film.
Shooting on The Hateful Eight is expected to get underway in the new year, with the film scheduled to be released in the latter half of 2015.
