Charlize Theron and Oscar Isaac voice the first trailer for the new take on The Addams Family
A first trailer for the new animated take on The Addams Family, which features the voices of Oscar Isaac and Charlize Theron, has arrived. Click below to watch it:
The Addams Family are a wealthy American family with a taste for the dark and macabre. They began life as a comic book series, before being adapted for television in the 1960s.
The characters were then rebooted in 1991 for a successful live-action movie and a 1993 sequel, both of which starred Anjelica Huston, Raúl Juliá, Christopher Lloyd and a young Christina Ricci.
In this new take, we find the Addams getting ready for a big family party, only for a devious reality TV host to turn up and threaten to ruin everything...
Isaac voices Gomez Addams with Theron playing Morticia. Chloë Grace Moretz voices their daughter Wednesday, while Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard is Pugsley.
Also in the voice cast are Nick Kroll, Aimee Garcia, Bette Midler and Allison Janney.
Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan, most recently in charge on riotous animation Sausage Party, are at the helm for this one.
The Addams Family will be released into UK cinemas on October 25th.
