Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence in talks to star together in sci-fi thriller Passengers
Guardians Of The Galaxy star Chris Pratt and The Hunger Games' Jennifer Lawrence are in talks to star together in sci-fi thriller Passengers.
The film, which has been in development for well over five years, is set on a spaceship which is transporting thousands of human colonists to a distant planet. When a malfunction causes one of them to be awakened 90 years before anyone else, they struggle for a solution until they decide to take the unusual step of waking up a fellow passenger.
According to The Wrap, both Pratt and Lawrence are interested, but both have very busy schedules. Pratt is committed to star in the remake of The Magnificent Seven, as well as promoting new blockbuster Jurassic World and a comittment to make Guardians Of The Galaxy 2, while Lawrence is confirmed to star in David O.Russell's new drama Joy and X-Men: Apocalypse as well as promoting the final instalment of The Hunger Games.
The Imitation Game director Morten Tyldum has signed up to direct Passengers.
