"It's about Christopher Robin finding his inner child again..." - hmv.com talks to the cast & director of Christopher Robin
Last year, fans of Winnie the Pooh were treated to a new movie telling the story of A.A. Milne and his most famous creation, as well as the impact of the character's fame on his son, Christopher Robin Milne, who was the real-life inspiration for the child in the Pooh stories.
This week Winnie the Pooh returns to the big screen once more in a new Disney film directed by Marc Forster, which combines live action with CG-animated versions of Milne's creations and sees Christopher Robin all grown up.
Ewan McGregor stars as an adult Christopher Robin who has long since left the companionship of his furry friends behind and is struggling with the day-to-day pressures of holding down a job and raising a family, but when the stress begins to take its toll and his work gets in the way of his family life, he receives an unexpected visit from his old friend Winnie.
Alongside McGregor is a cast that includes Hayley Atwell and Mark Gatiss, with the voice of Winnie the Pooh provided by Jim Cummings, the man behind Pooh's voice in the bear's much-loved animated adventures.
With Christopher Robin arriving on DVD shelves on Monday (December 10th) we caught up with director Marc Forster and stars Hayley Atwell and Jim Cummings to talk about Pooh's latest adventure.
