Colin Trevorrow to direct Jurassic World 3
Colin Trevorrow is to return to direct the third instalment of the trilogy that began with Jurassic World.
The movie, which follows up from this summer's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, will arrive in cinemas on June 11th in 2021.
Trevorrow opted not to direct the sequel due to his attachment to Star Wars: Episode IX, but left that project at the end of 2017 and is now available once again.
For the this summer's sequel, Trevorrow wrote the script with regular collaborator Derek Connolly and was already to confirmed to write the third instalment, this time working with Pacific Rim: Uprising scribe Emily Carmichael. Trevorrow and Connolly have supplied the story for the third outing.
The sequel arrives in cinemas on June 6th this summer, with both Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will return to star in the sequel with Rafe Spall, Toby Jones and James Cromwell among the new actors joining the cast.
