Controversial horror The Hunt gets a release date, new trailer unveiled

Controversial horror The Hunt has been given a new release date and a new trailer, which you can see below:

The movie, which has been made by horror factory Blumhouse, was due to come out in September of last year, but the release was cancelled in the wake of a series of mass shootings in the US. 

However, it has now been given a new release date. 

The film stars Ike Barinholtz, Betty Gilpin, Emma Roberts, Hilary Swank and Justin Hartley.

It follows 12 strangers who wake up in a clearing. They don't know where they are, or how they got there. It soon turns out, however, that they are there to be hunted by a group of wealthy people...

Z For Zachariah and Compliance director Craig Zobel takes charge, working from a script from Nick Cuse and Lost creator Damon Lindelof. 

The Hunt will be released into US cinemas on March 13th. A UK release date has yet to be confirmed.
