Cult horror classic Cabin Fever to be remade, with Eli Roth producing
Cabin Fever, the horror film that has become a cult favourite with fans over the last decade, is to be remade.
The film's original director Eli Roth will act as producer on the remake, which will begin shooting next week in Oregon.
Travis Zariwny, who is besy known for directing Intruder, will be behind the camera and will direct using the same script as the original.
Teen Wolf star Gage Golightly, Dustin Ingram, Samuel Davis, Matthew Daddario and Nadine Crocker will star in the remake.
Cabin Fever follows a group of college graduates who rent a cabin in the woods and begin to fall victim to a flesh-eating virus. The original starred Boy Meets World's actor Rider Strong as well as Jordan Ladd and James DeBello. You can see the trailer for the original movie below.
Roth is currently in post-production on his new film Knock, Knock. It stars Keanu Reeves and will be released sometime in 2015.
