Dakota Johnson and Tracee Ellis Ross star in the heartwarming first trailer for new comedy The High Note
A first trailer for The High Note, the new comedy starring Dakota Johnson and Tracee Ellis Ross, has been unveiled:
The film, which was formerly named Covers, centres of Ross's Grace Davis, a superstar whose talent, and ego, have reached unbelievable heights.
Johnson plays Maggie, the singer's overworked personal assistant who’s stuck running errands, but still aspires to her childhood dream of becoming a music producer.
With Davis facing a tough moment in her career, can the two of them come together to make things right?
Kelvin Harrison Jr., Zoë Chao, June Diane Raphael, Diplo, Eddie Izzard, Ice Cube and Bill Pullman are in supporting roles.
Nisha Ganatra, who won a Golden Globe for her work on Transparent, and directed 2019’s Late Night, is behind the camera.
The High Note will be released in UK cinemas on May 8th.
