Daniel Craig fuels reports he's done as Bond after agreeing to another movie role
Daniel Craig has thrown his future as James Bond into more doubt after he signed up to star alongside Halle Berry in new drama Kings.
According to Deadline, Craig and Berry will lead the drama, which is to be directed by Mustang's Deniz Gamze Erguven.
Set in Los Angeles in the early 1990s in the aftermath of the notorious Rodney King trial, Craig will play Ollie, a loner and one of the few white residents of a particular neighborhood in South Central.
As the plot plays out he meets and falls in love with Berry's character, who looks after a group of kids. Soon after, the riots roar across the city and the two have to work together to track down the kids and get them away from the worst of the violence.
Kings is the third project Craig has signed up for since he finishing promoting Spectre. He will take a role in Stephen Soderberg's Logan Lucky and a lead role in Purity, a new TV series based on Jonathan Franzen's best-selling novel.
Reports have linked both Tom Hiddleston and Jamie Bell with taking over as 007, but there is likely to be no confirmation for a while.
Spectre is out now on DVD and available to order from hmv's online store by clicking on the icon on the right-hand side of the page.
