Daniel Radcliffe, Lizzie Caplan and Jay Chou confirmed for Now You See Me 2
Harry Potter mainman Daniel Radcliffe, Masters Of Sex star Lizzie Caplan and Taiwanese actor Jay Chou are confirmed to join the cast of the sequel to thriller Now You See Me.
Both Caplan and Radcliffe had been rumoured to be joining the cast, but have now been confirmed.
Jon M.Chu, who recently directed GI Joe: Retaliation, will direct the sequel, replacing Louis Leterrier, with Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg all returning for the sequel, as well as Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine.
Isla Fisher's name is not mentioned in the official announcement, but the film's official synopsis does state that the Four Horsemen, the group of magicians played by Eisenberg, Franco, Harrelson and Fisher, will return. It is unknown if she will be replaced by Caplan or whether the Masters Of Sex actress will have a different role.
The sequel's plot synopsis reads as follows: "One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their mind-bending spectacles, the Four Horsemen resurface in Now You See Me 2 only to find themselves face to face with a new enemy who enlists them to pull off their most dangerous heist yet."
The sequel to Now You See Me is due for release on June 10th in 2016.
