Daniel Radcliffe signs up to star as FBI agent in new thriller Imperium
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has signed up to play an FBI agent in tense new thriller Imperium.
Deadline reports that Radcliffe will play a young agent who is forced to go undercover to find and stop a group of white supremacists trying to make a dirty bomb.
The movie is based on the experiences of Michael German, an FBI undercover agent who spent many years undercover inside United States neo-Nazi and militia groups.
Imperium will be directed by Daniel Ragussis, an acclaimed short film director who will make his feature directorial debut, working from a script he co-wrote with German himself.
Radcliffe is currently filming indie comedy Swiss Army Man alongside There Will Be Blood star Paul Dano and Scott Pilgrim's Mary Elizabeth Winstead, but will next be seen in fantasy drama Victor Frankenstein where he plays opposite James McAvoy, Jessica Brown Findlay and Andrew Scott.
