David Harbour joins Chris Hemsworth in Russo Brothers movie Dhaka
Stranger Things star David Harbour has become the second confirmed addition to the cast of Dhaka, the upcoming crime thriller being produced by Avengers: Infinity War directors Anthony and Joe Russo. Harbour joins Chris Hemsworth, who was revealed to be leading the cast for the new film when the project was announced earlier this month.
Written by Joe Russo, the film is set in Southeast Asia where a young boy becomes the unwitting pawn in a ferocious war between two drug lords. When the boy is kidnapped, his father hires a weary mercenary (played by Hemsworth) and charges him with the dangerous task of rescuing the child from the clutches of his enemies.
The Russo Bothers will act as producers on the film, which is set to be a feature-length directorial debut for Sam Hargrave, who has extensive experience as a stunt coordinator and is perhaps best known as the stunt double for Chris Evans in Captain America.
Harbour and Hemsworth are the only two confirmed cast member so far but the film is expected to add more names to its cast list over the coming weeks and months. No release date for the film has been mooted at this early stage.
