hmv.com talks Deadpool 2 with Josh Brolin & Zazie Beetz
With its rip-roaring action, acid one-liners and a standout�performance from Ryan Reynolds, 2016's Deadpool was a huge hit, scoring almost $800 million in box office receipts.
Now, just under two years later, a sequel arrives, this time with a bigger budget and a bigger supporting cast.
The sequel will see Reynolds’ Wade Wilson return and face off against Cable, a time-travelling soldier and well-loved nemesis from the X-Men comics. To help him in the fight, Deadpool forms a team of mutants called the X-Force to protect a young mutant from Cable.
Josh Brolin and Atlanta star Zazie Beetz will take major roles in the sequel. Brolin will play Cable, while Beetz will portray Domino.
Morena Baccarin, Julian Dennison, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, Jack Kesy, Terry Crews, Rob Delaney and Stefan Kapičić are also in key roles, while John Wick co-director David Leitch takes charge of the sequel.
The film arrives on DVD shelves on Monday (September 17th) and is available to pre-order on DVD, Blu-Ray and Steelbook, exclusive to hmv, here, but ahead of that, we spoke to Brolin and Beatz about their part in the sequel and why Ryan Reynolds had some very special needs...
