Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson to star in remake of Big Trouble In Little China
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is in negotiations to star and produce a remake of the cult action classic Big Trouble In Little China.
According to The Wrap, Johnson will star in the remake, which will have a script from X-Men: First Class writers Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller, both of whom are signed up to pen the remake.
John Carpenter's 1982 original starred Kurt Russell as a truck driver named Jack Burton who gets dragged into a mysterious battle in San Francisco's Chinatown, a battle which involves an ancient sorcerer and a whole lot of martial arts.
Though a box office flop upon release, the movie has become a cult classic and still performed well on home entertainment.
