Emily Blunt in talks to star in Snow White and The Huntsman prequel
Emily Blunt is in talks to star in the prequel to 2012 fantasy blockbuster Snow White And The Huntsman.
The Edge Of Tomorrow star, who can currently be seen on screen in Disney's new adaptation of Into The Woods, is in advanced talks to play the film's villain, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The original starred Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron and was directed by Rupert Sanders. Only Hemsworth is scheduled to return for the prequel.
The film was set to be directed by Frank Darabont, best known for directing The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile, but Darabont exited the project over the weekend over creative differences. A replacement for Darabont is set to be announced in the coming weeks.
The follow-up to Snow White and The Huntsman, which raked in almost $400 million at the box office back in 2012, is due to be released into cinemas on April 22nd in 2016.
