Fantastic Beasts star Dan Fogler gives an update on the third movie
Dan Fogler has given an update on the plans for the third instalment of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.
Production on the third movie in the franchise was due to begin on March 16th, but the whole shoot was postponed amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking to SyFywire, Fogler, who plays muggle Jacob Kowalski, revealed there are some epic plans.
He said: "I can say I read the script and the character development is really lovely and it’s very similar to the feel of the first movie, which I think is great. It’s leading toward this massive war with the backdrop of World War II, so you can just imagine epic battle scenes are coming."
Asked if he'd had an update on getting back to work, Fogler said: "I guess when everybody else starts back up, when the mechanism starts to move again and everybody starts to get back to work, that’s when we’ll get back to work. Hopefully, sooner than later."
The second instalment in the Harry Potter spin-off was released at the end of 2018.
For the third movie, director David Yates returns, with J.K Rowling co-writing alongside long-time Harry Potter adapter Steve Kloves.
